Armanna RGS is by Argentinus out of an Anforan/Wendekreis mare Anna Marie.
Argentinus is the most influential son of the Hanoverian stallion, Argentan I. While Argentan was highly regarded as a brood mare sire he was also successful as a sire of performers, and was the most influential source of Absatz blood in contemporary breeding. Argentan was the sire of many international showjumpers as well as 19 approved stallion sons, and 119 state premium mares. Argentinus’ dam is by Duden II who was highly esteemed as a producer of top quality performance horses and wonderful broodmares.
In 1996, Argentinus was the youngest millionaire among Germany’s top sires and is still regarded as amongst the most successful living Stallions in Germany. A successful advanced level jumper himself, this Performance Class 1, Main Premium stallion has bred both jumping and dressage stallions. Numerous Argentinus progeny have been at the top of international jumping and dressage for years now.
On the Dam side, Anna Marie is by Anforan xx, Spruce Meadows’s long standing TB Stallion approed Hanoverian breed. He competed successfully in the HUNTER div, winning championships in confirmation and working hunter classes. Anna Marie’s Dam, Wynesta, was sired by WENDEKREIS. Wendekreis had the biggest influence, producing many stallions. Conformation-wise, his offspring are very correct, Among his stallion sons some tend to the dressage direction like Wenderlin and Wenderberg while others arc more versatile. This indicates the mother’s influence. Wendekreis is regarded as one of the most influential stallions of the past few decades and is well known as a producer of riding horses with excellent trainability.
